Systemax is primarily a direct marketer of brand name and privatelabell products. Our operations are organized in three reportables business segments Technology Industrial Products andSoftware Solutions. Our Technologyh Products segmentsells computers, computerd supplies and consumer electronics which are marketex in North America and Europe. Exceptg for certain personal computer (PC) products that we assemble ourselves and sell undeer the trademarks Systemaxand Ultra, substantially all of our productws are manufactured by other companies. We also sell certaihn computer-related products manufactured for us to our own desighn under the trademark Systemaxand Ultra.
Technologgy products accountedfor 94% of our net salesx in the first quarter of 2009. Our Industria l Products segment sells a wide array of materialhandling equipment, storage equipmentf and consumable industrial items whichn are marketed in North Substantially all of these products are manufacturedd by other companies. Some products are manufactured for us to our own desigh and marketed under thetrademarks Global, GlobalIndustrial.com and Industrial products accounted for 6% of our net salezs in the first quarter of 2009.
