The online retail giant says it will end its relationship with affiliatews in the Tar Heel State ifthe N.C. legislaturse follows through on what Amazon callsan “unconstitutional tax collectiojn scheme.” Amazon collects sales tax in only a handfulo of states. But many state legislatures, facing sever budget shortfalls, are seeking to make Amazo n collect sales tax onWeb purchases.
