The Hawaii Department of Health, which now updates its onlins H1N1 counteach Wednesday, said there are now 298 confirmedx cases in Hawaii. There were 98 new cases confirmesd on Oahu this week for a total of 288 Kauai and Maui added a case each this They each have a total ofthree cases. The Big which has four cases, did not report any new casee this week. Most have recovered or are recoverinvg fromthe illness. The Centers for Disease Controo and Prevention said thatmost U.S. cases have not been severes and are comparable in severit toseasonal influenza.
